Port Phillip Specialist School - 5 stages

This project involved the renovation of a former Victorian era Primary School. Stages implemented were: School upgrade, Therapy Pool and new specialist spaces, new bridge at first floor and rotunda, new transition unit for senior students and a new Performing Arts complex.

The Performing Arts centre includes drama, art and music spaces as well as performing spaces. It contains a world first artwork - the walls in the performing space are lined with fibre matrix using over a billion stitches, electronically produced, with images of every student.

A transition and Early intervention building has recently been designed which will include a Kindergarten, new classrooms, as well as a covered arrival area. The design of the building shows a new range of spaces to enable team teaching and exploration for the arts in many forms as the primary driver for learning.
