We have a strong reputation for consultation where the architect
leads a process of bringing together the many users and service
providers. We design community buildings for several Councils
(including over 20 childcare centres for the City of Melbourne,
City of Hobson's Bay and private organisations). |

EDUCATIONAL
In all levels of education buildings we provide innovative solutions
within the tight budgets. Our projects include all levels of
education as well as special buildings for disabled students.

RESIDENTIAL
From single house renovations in Melbourne suburbs through to
the conversion of the Capitol Theatre building in Swanston Street
to apartments. The range is extensive with full design of all
aspects through to furniture and artworks. |

COMMERCIAL
AND RETAIL
Since the 1980s Hede Architects have designed over $100 million
worth of office buildings. These have involved new buildings
and recycling such as the 'X' building in Richmond - 11,000m2
plus carpark. Retail projects range from large supermarkets
through to individual shops, we developed the prototype for
the new Coles Supermarket and documented over 150 Franklins
Supermarkets around Australia. |

INTERIORS
These projects range from Norwich Union Offices throughout Australia
to new interiors to many St. Kilda Road buildings. We masterplanned
Norwich head office involving up to 700 people and 6 floors.

From documenting Toyota's parts supply building of 50,000 m2
through to a new building for up to 35 robots on car parts diecasting.
